What is Hospice Message Training
As more people move away from conventional medicine, there has been a growing demand for hospice massage training and palliative care massage training. Hospitals and medical centers across the U.S. are increasingly hiring trained practitioners to provide gentle, compassionate touch.
However, the path of touch looks different for everyone. Not all massage therapists are able to care for people with advanced illnesses, which is why they may consider seeking training. This can allow them to effectively communicate with their patients and provide gentle touch massages, moving away from the fear of touching terminally ill individuals.
End-of-Life Massage Training Program

Advanced End-of-Life & Palliative Care Massage Training
The Advanced Heart Touch Training in End-of-Life Care program is designed to deepen the quality of interaction between massage therapists and their patients. Through hands-on practicums, you’ll gain new tools and touch techniques to support people during a deeply vulnerable time.
The program’s mind-body integration techniques bring greater awareness to how our bodies respond to our thoughts. This hospice massage training helps you understand the science behind how the human body functions and how it affects our emotions and interactions. You’ll also strengthen your communication skills, practice stress-reduction activities, and learn to support patients through guided visualization.
As part of this rigorous training, you’ll be introduced to aspects of trauma touch therapy, helping you offer relief to people experiencing physical and emotional pain, even without words. Your patients can feel more relaxed, calm, and supported, while the experience has the power to change lives, including your own.
Massage for Pediatric Patients
Our Massage for Pediatric Patients Training is a program aimed at improving the lives of young patients, whether it's helping vulnerable infants and children in hospitals dealing with serious illnesses or those combating life-threatening medical conditions.
Dealing with children is far more challenging than working with adults. They have unique physical, emotional, and developmental needs that require specialized attention. Our program aims to equip aspiring massage therapists with the skills and expertise they need to communicate with young patients and provide relief through gentle and calming touches.
This course is not only for alleviating the suffering of children with terminal illnesses but also for helping them overcome emotional trauma and other challenges. The soothing touch and gentle strokes can stimulate the release of endorphins, reducing anxiety and inducing calmness.
Aromatherapy Certification for Healthcare & Hospice Proffesional
Over the years, many studies have shown that the use of Aromatherapy and essential oils care alongside traditional medicine or therapy can work in treating anxiety and stress. These are the two things that can make life more miserable for those with an advanced illness.
At The Heart Touch Project, our Aromatherapy Certification program gives practitioners first-hand experience in using essential oils effectively in hospice and healthcare settings. Massage therapists and caregivers learn the benefits of aromatherapy and how to administer it safely, gaining the skills to become valued members of the pain and palliative care medical team.
