Misbah Akbar is an Nurse Practitioner (NP) working in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Originally from Connecticut, Misbah relocated to Southern California to be closer to her family. She is an active volunteer in the community and has worked in healthcare for over a decade. Her nursing and NP experience includes women’s health, mental health, family practice and emergency medicine.  She is passionate about the geriatric population and strongly believes in the therapeutic benefits of touch in her practice.
