Mario Milch joined the Heart Touch Board in 2018 after retiring from 50 years of medical practice.  Dr. Milch attended UCLA as an undergraduate and received his MD degree from University of Southern California.  He is certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative and Hospice Medicine.  Mario was the founding Medical Director of the Kaiser Permanente Metro Los Angeles Hospice, where he developed an inpatient Palliative Service ,as well as leading the Chronic Pain Program.  More recently, he was the Associate Medical Director of the Vitas hospice program based in Encino.

Mario loves to travel with his fellow physician Joanne and attend to his stamp collection. He was born and raised in Argentina and speaks Spanish (and Yiddish when he finds the rare person who still speaks it).
