Karen Kesselman
Secretary, The Heart Touch Project

Karen Kesselman joined the Board of the Heart Touch Project in 2018.  A former marketing and communications executive who is currently an active community volunteer, Karen focuses her efforts on organizations with a social justice and social services focus.


In addition to working with Heart Touch, Karen has been a high-impact volunteer at Chrysalis, a nonprofit organization which provides homeless and low-income individuals with the resources and support to find employment


Karen brings to her volunteer activities over twelve years of professional marketing and communications experience.  As Vice President of Marketing at Turner Network Sales, a division of Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, Karen was responsible for all trade marketing, advertising and sales support activities for Turner cable networks..  Before Turner Broadcasting, Karen worked on brand re-design, naming and brand strategy projects for Landor Associates in New York. Before joining Landor, Karen was an Account Supervisor on the Reynolds Metals account at J. Walter Thompson, New York.

Karen holds a BA in history from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. She currently resides in Los Angeles and has one college graduate working in the non-profit field and one soon-to-be college graduate.
