    The International Journal of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (IJTMB) describes itself as “an open access, peer-reviewed publication intended to accommodate the diverse needs of the rapidly-expanding therapeutic massage and bodywork community. Principal sections of the journal span the areas of research, education and clinical practice.” ILTMB is available online at no charge.

Research

  • Touch Research Institute
  • Located at the University of Miami School of Medicine, the Touch Research Institute was founded in 1972 under the leadership of Tiffany Fields, Ph.D. It was the world’s first center focused solely on the touch and its application in the areas of science and medicine. This site contains abstracts of their publications.
